Las Canteras Restaurant & Bar

... is a melange of the cool tastes of contemporary Peru and storied traditions of the Land of the Incas. The menu reflects this fusion of styles. It features both time-honored and up-to-date dishes. The decor, highlighted by photographs from scenes of modern Peru and crafts hand-made by local Peruvian artisans, is also a mix of the nuevo and the traditional.

Above all, we offer the rich range of tastes, textures, spices and products that contribute to Peru's cuisine. We're a destination restaurant for a romantic date, a special occasion or an evening out with family or friends.

Eddy Ancasi is Las Canteras' executive chef. A native of southern Peru, he trained in kitchens in Arequipa, one of Peru's culinary strongholds. He honed his skills in El Chalan and other hospitality venues in the Washington area.
